Headquartered in Pacific, Missouri we own and operate asphalt plants in Sullivan, House Springs, St.Clair and Pacific. As well as fielding a portable asphalt plant where needed.

Preserving our resources, protecting the environment

West Contracting has invested heavily in ensuring that we preserve our resources and protect the environment.

Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement ranks as America’s most recycled and reused material.

Asphalt is 100% recyclable, and more than 100 million tons of asphalt pavement are recycled every year. Other industries’ waste products such as roof shingles, rubber and foundry sand can also be incorporated into the asphalt mixes. In 2012 alone, Missouri Contractors reused 1.5 million tons of asphalt 72,000 tons of shingles into new hot mix asphalt!

Our equipment

With a fleet of cold-milling machines, West Contracting provides a full range of milling surfaces.

This includes full-depth milling, edgeline milling, depth transitions, pavement repairs, and milling in place and pulverization. All milled asphalt is reused as Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) at one of our three Missouri asphalt plants.

We operate three pavement rotomilling machines, which remove existing asphalt pavement from roadways. All three of West Contracting’s Asphalt Plants use RAP as well as RAS (recycled asphalt shingles) in our asphalt mixes, giving our customers a quality product, while recycling every piece of RAP we rotomill.

Our highway asphalt paving crews are experienced in production and installation of BP mixes, Superpave, NovaChip®, and Bondtekk® pavements for MoDOT, Counties, and Cities.

Sometimes you may know exactly what you want, other times you may want help figuring out what is best for your roadway. Our Project Managers are happy to help you determine the best long term solution and give you budget pricing on a variety of options if need be before any bid goes out.

The Project Managers at West Contracting understand a lot of planning goes into all major publicly funded roadwork projects. Lane closures, day and/or night work, notification of residents or traveling public, scheduling, DBE Participation, using and testing for the appropriate mixes, and of course completing the project on time & within budget (and the paperwork to go with it!).

Every asphalt resurfacing or overlay job that we do carries with it an experienced asphalt installation team, whose purpose is to deliver a quality job, on time and within budget.

We also check grades prior to and throughout the paving process to insure proper water drainage once the new pavement is placed.

Prior to an asphalt overlay, we will make all necessary repairs to ensure the best possible finished product. We’ll work closely with you to ensure that your asphalt resurfacing project is closely managed and supervised and exceeds your expectations.

General contracting services to city, county and DOT clients including roads grading, and sewer work

West Contracting started its General Contracting Division to provide a full compliment of services to our clients. We work with Government agencies, public and private companies, and HOA’s to bring their plans to reality. The same beliefs that made us successful in asphalt paving are the foundation for our success in larger scale jobs. Our ability to handle these jobs is second to none.

Concrete Services

West Contracting started its Highway Concrete Division in 2002 to be competitive in General Contracting work.

We work with MoDOT, St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson, Franklin, and Crawford Counties. We also work with various Municipalities, and public and private developments to bring their plans to reality.
